Mission

To share out knowledge of agricultural practices with the public, to raise and grow quality natural products for public consumption, and to contribute to the preservation of a vital rural life community for future generations.

Policies and PROCEDURES

Our goal is to keep things safe and enjoyable for everyone. We reserve the right to refuse admission onto our farm to anyone for any reason. Specifically banned items include, but are not limited to: use of foul language, aggressive behavior, weapons of any kind, smoking, alcohol and pets.

Guest Responsibility

Although safety is a priority, guests need to understand there is an inherent risk in participating in agritourism activities. We expect guests to exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner. Guests must obey all oral and written warnings. Guests who do not comply may be required to leave the farm without refund.

Behavior

Woosley Farm primarily caters to families, and we expect all guests to behave in a family-friendly manner. Please walk at all times while visiting the farm. Do not sit, stand, or lean on fences or railings. Do not climb on walls or within buildings. Respect barrier fences at all time while visiting our animals. Guests are required to comply with all local, state and federal laws, as well as Woosley Farm's policies, rules and instructions. Unruly, disruptive or offensive behavior, including profanity, is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.

Smoking

Woosley Farm prohibits smoking anywhere on the property. Woosley Farm is a historical farm and our buildings have a high fire hazard due to their age and the presence of hay.

Dress Code

To promote a family atmosphere, clothing that is obscene or deemed inappropriate will not be permitted. Shirt and shoes must be worn at all times. Closed toed shoes are recommended as well as weather appropriate outerwear.

Food, Drinks and Coolers

Food, beverages, and coolers may be brought onto the farm. The farm has a picnic barn available for guests.

Prohibited Items

In addition to all items previously mentioned, the following items are not permitted at Woosley Farm:

• Glass containers
• Illegal substances
• Weapons: knives, firearms and ammunition
• Chemical weapons, including mace and pepper spray
• Fireworks and explosives
• Laser pointers
• Animal poison, bait, and traps

Commercial Photography

By entering onto the property of Woosley Farm, each guest grants Woosley Farm the right to film, videotape, or photograph him or her on Woosley Farm's property for any reason without payment or consideration. Guests must have written permission to use photographs and/or videotape of Woosley Farm's images for commercial broadcasting, advertising, marketing or publishing in any medium.

Pets

Animals are generally not allowed on Woosley Farm property, with the exception of certified service animals. Woosley Farm does not have any facilities to shelter your pets. Service animals may be asked to leave or relocate away from animals if they are a disruption to the farm animals.

Hayrides

Woosley Farm is committed to safety. We require without exception all visiting guests to respect and follow rules that are posted or given verbally by a staff member. All guests must remain seated at all times on the hayrides. All hands and feet must be kept within the wagon while the ride is in motion.

Weather Policy

In the event of inclement weather, Woosley Farm will make every effort to call the contact person listed on your group’s reservation form. In the case of adverse weather, Woosley Farm will attempt to reschedule your program without penalty. If another date is not available, full refunds of any deposits will be made.

Refund Policy

It is at the prerogative of Woosley Farm to offer cancellation refunds, rain checks or exchanges.

Woosley Farm does occasionally offers extra discounts or purchase incentives. These discounts are only available at the time the order is placed. Pricing adjustments will not be made for previous orders based on past or future promotions or sale prices.
